Brittany Shelton is a Program Manager for the Health & Housing Program and is also a therapist with the mental health services component at LightHouse Social Service Centers. Brittany assists homeless individuals with chronic health conditions sustain permanent independent housing with intensive case management services and rental subsidy payments. In addition to managing the Health & Housing Program, she also provides individual therapy services to clients at LightHouse in order to provide additional support to clients with mental health concerns. Brittany holds an M.S. in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in community corrections and an M.A. in Psychology with a dual emphasis in Marriage & Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling. She is also currently working toward a Psychology Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at California Southern University. Brittany is passionate about her work with individuals in the homeless community both from a Housing First perspective as well as a mental health perspective in order to provide the clients with the best opportunity for success in independent housing long term.
