Susan Kershner
Susan is our Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Program Manager with 10 years of experience in working with the homeless population. Susan graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and her Masters Degree in Criminal justice. She began her career in the human service sector supporting transitional age youth in the employment and educational arena. Susan served as Western Maryland Director of Employment Services for United Cerebral Palsy for over 8 years. During her career in the human service field, Susan found she had a passion for working with the homeless population. Susan moved from Maryland to California in 2017 at which time she started her career with Lighthouse Social Service Centers as a Case Manager in the SSVF program. In October of 2020, Susan was promoted to SSVF Program Manager. Susan looks forward every day to serving over 225 Veterans families each year.
