Hope for Heroes Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) Program

The Hope for Heroes Permanent Supportive Housing Program assists homeless disabled Veterans and their families break the cycle of poverty and homelessness.  The Hope for Heroes PSH program is committed to working with our veteran heroes to secure permanent stable housing.  The program provides one and two bedroom fully furnished apartments located in San Bernardino County.

Target Population:

The Hope for Heroes Program serves disabled Veterans residing in the counties of San Bernardino and Riverside within the Loma Linda VA Medical Center catchment area.  The annual income of the Veteran Family may not exceed 50% of area median income.

Program Goal:

The goal of the Hope for Heroes PSH program is to provide on-going supportive services, including case management services as well as provide permanent stable housing.

Hope for Heroes Services PSH:

Services include: Permanent Stable Housing, On-going Case Management Services, Supportive Services, Basic Needs Assistance, Linkage to the Loma Linda VA Medical Center, Education, Vocational and Family Support Services.

The Hope For Heroes 2 Program serves an additional eleven Veteran-eligible households who are honorably discharged and with an adult household member diagnosed as disabled. Their primary source of income, if any, could include entitlement benefits, SSI, SSDI, General Relief, Veterans Benefits, or employment income.
